If you need to work on the trannyand not the engine, leave the engine in the car, it is no big deal to pull the tranny from under the car. I can do it with out help. Just jack the car the way up in the air and put on 4 jack stands. If you do not need to work the tranny, leave it in the car. The engine/tranny pair is an ungainly thing to move and handle. Plus, if you break the engine from the tranny, it is real easy to put the engine on an engine stand right from the hoist.
