I'm finally gonna try and update my 32/36 Weber jetting with the setup Carl Nelson posted. I've never really done too much on a carb personally, I was wondering if anyone had a couple pictures or diagrams showing and stating which jet and tube was which.
This is the text I got:
The jet package that the carb is delivered with is not good. Switch to f7 emulsion tubes, and switch the air correctors (between the primary and secondary) -- this is 160 primary 170 secondary. Change the main fuel jet to a 130. Leave the secondary fuel jet at 140. Use 55 or 60 main and secondary transition jets. This works great for most near stock cars. You can use the late 2bbl air cleaner, modify the bottom of the air filter and fit an adaptor, and it looks stock. This combination works great and delivers great flexibility.
With that, what exactly is an f7 emulsion tube, and where can I get one. Where are all these jets available at? Do I need to a junkyard, or can I get it jet by jet from Weber or a parts store?
