Many backyard engine break-in stands are setup so that your garden hose feeds the cooling passages.

I am wanting to BRIEFLY start the engine in my project car, but the nose panel is off and I am waiting on a new radiator. Would it be possible to bypass the radiator by using a length of radiator hose (with fluid in the system of course)? The fan is still on the engine. It would only be about a minute (if that), so the temp shouldn't get too high.

What do guys think?

TIA, Jason
