Hello all,

a few weeks ago I posted on here for help on deciding what engine to throw into my 76 project car. I had purchased an engine and 5 spd trans some time ago with the intent of putting it in, but now I am having second thoughts on converting to fuel injection (it is from a 320i).

when I bought the engine, I was told the head was worked/shaved and rebuilt, it had a comp cam, it has a polished valve cover and competition oil pan with all new injectors... but I have had mixed opinions on whether or not to use it and if it is worthwhile...some argue I'm wasting my time going from my 2.0 head to a 1.8 head.. others say it's too much of a pain to convert to fuel injection... so I started thinking of using parts off of it to put on my 2.0 engine.. such as the valve cover, the comp oil pan, etc.

I opened up the valve cover today and sure enough, I can tell it has been worked on.. it is clean in there.. and some of the nuts are shiney and new so I know parts were replaced... so is it worth it? also, the cam is not a shrick like I thought it was.. it says "Norris 301" or something.. is this a good cam and can I use it in my 2.0 head...??

how much HP do you guys think this has versus my current setup? it also has stahl headers...
