Finally finished installing a new (professionally rebuilt)E21 head on my 76A. I am not a mechanic. It was my first time and I had only this board (which is great) and the Haynes, Factory, and McCartney manuals to follow.

Anyway, the starter still turns, but no spark (running a Blue Coil and Pertronix). Also, no fuel from the mechanical pump. Again, I'm not a mechanic, but no fuel and no spark = no go.

Does anyone have a wiring diagram for the blue coil (the one that came with the Pertronix doesn't cut it).

Would a tired battery slow the turning of the engine and prevent the fuel pump from drawing fuel?

Everything worked great before I mangled it (except for bad valves and gaskets).

I've done everything alone to this point and I don't want to call in the pros yet. Any and all help is appreciated. A six-pack goes to the most helpful post. I'm desperate.

Thanks,

Tim in NJ
