If my wife knew how much a years subscription to RE cost, I'd be in the doghouse. The mag is fun to look at, but sometimes doesn't get techinical enough. I also get Mechanical Engineering (comes with your ASME membership) and Automotive Engineering (comes with my SAE membership). ME gets into some really hairy stuff. AE is more like a trade rag - lots of ads, low on info, cheap ink that comes off onto my hands.
