Well, on Volvo fours (very few are V6s), the oil pressure sender is screwed into the side of the block next to the oil filter, which is on the passenger side. On Audi four and five cylinder engines, it's on top near the edge of the valve cover. This is probably also true of VW fours. The voltmeters just connect to any positive feed., and the Volvo clocks (which, unfortunately, say "Volvo" on the face) have a neat little harness onto which you can splice a new plug and plug directly into the unused three-pin connector on the back of your '02 instrument cluster. (although on your car, this connector may be occupied since you have a clock; not sure).
