OK guys, I've been hesitant to post because I'm afraid of the answer...

But my 2002 is losing some water...maybe about 20oz every week-2 weeks or so. I don't have an overflow bottle, but my rad does have a outlet for one (I have a rubber hose that dumps into the nose panel...most probably think I have a catch tank back there, but the joke's on them). Leaks are a possibility, but I'm not leaving huge puddles of coolant on the garage floor (on the other hand, the comparison between my side of the garage floor to my dad's side of the garage floor-Mazda Miata-is quite startling).

So am I just burning all this water via a gaping hole in my head gasket? There isn't any steam out of the pipe once the car is warm.

My oil consumption is acceptable...maybe 1 quart/2000 mi...although I blasted up onto the FWY yesterday, hit about 85mph...backed off, then got back on it, much to the chagrin of the mosquito population...but I think that particular phenomenon is the rings...

Anyway, am I long for this world or what? I still don't have the head back on my toyota truck, which means i'm fresh out of cars if the 2 decides to crap out on me.

TIA
