To see if you are getting spark coming from the coil to the dizzy take the center wire and expose the metal. While holding on to the rubber part hold it near the valve cover and have someone turn the engine over. If you see spark then the coil is good and it is most likely in the dizzy, since you already mentioned there is not at the plugs.

Did you take them all off at once and test them(same way as above)?

If you don't have any spark on the center wire then the coil isn't passing the spark, check for between 12 and 14 volts on the positive(?) side of the coil to see if anything it getting there, if it is the coil is bad, but if it worked before the head job then I doubt it went bad, probably just bad connection somewhere.
