Their origional Front pannels?. for two reasons
1 they rust like hell
2 The usual combination of youn driver, quick, tail happy and dicy brakes

I'm looking at a late 1971 2002 tii here in Italy that has round tails and the newer style grills (black plastic). I have no reason to doubt the owner who has documents and family photo history that shows that it has never been altered. The car is a very low mileage car. (64000 km)

Does anyone have concrete info that these "transition" models were ever built?
