I have a 528i alt in my car; are the urethane bushings i would buy for an '02 the same measurements? from some place such as BMP or something? I (unfortunately) did not compare the 2 when i had the alternators out.

I believe they are the same.

I've put 528i BMP poly bushings into a 2002 alt before so I see no reason why you couldn't reverse the application.
