You can get better low-end grunt from a M20, but the S14 is the ultimate track and top-end car. At the stock redline, a 3.45 rear end will set you up with a 130+mph redline in a close-ratio 5 and plenty of power to get there. Chip the engine and get another 800 rpm (and ~20 hp) to work with. And it sounds like the meanest thing ever to hit the highway (at least with my muffler).

I don't have 0-60's in my car yet but I reckon its in the 7's, mebbe lower. I hit 60 in 2nd, so its not a question of speed-shifting either.

David Varco (2002parts.com) sells a manual to do the S14 installation in an 02. He can also get you any of the parts you need. Suspension, brakes, bushings, wheels, tires will all need to be upgraded to support the upgraded potential of the car.
