even a stock gasket will seal better with ONLY the O-ring cut in the top of the block. There was a wessbite that explained this far better than I could... anyone?

So can I get away without a cutting ring gasket on my 121 head? I think every time you skim the head, more has to be removed if a cutting ring gasket has been used?
