both of our windows have been replaced, sounds like similar circumstances. My brother broke one, i broke the other, back when we were younger. (the blame, the shame....) it seems that with age, the tracking system inside shifts slightly? replacements were fitted carefully, no further problems. btw, both broke on hot humid days. but, then again, in toronto, all hot days are humid, and its not like we have the windows down in the winter!!
