Help! Electrical Problems!! (archive)

Whenever I put in a fuse for the brake lights, it blows right away. I've checked all the wires I could see, and none of them seem to be shorting out. Does anybody have any suggestions to what it may be? my best guess would be that a wire is shorting, but where? The fuse blows as soon as I turn the ignition on, not when I hit the brakes or turn anything on. Help!
