We have secured space at Heritage Square in the foothills of Golden, Colorado for our gathering on Sunday August 26th. This is for the whole region, not just us locals. The location is the perfect gateway to our gorgeous mountains - 15 minutes west of downtown, just off of I-70 at the Morrison exit. We already have over 30 confirmations of attendence. Please join us all for a long overdue get together of our beloved (and sometimes infuriating) little cars that saved BMW.
Heritage Square, in addition to its ample parking and great location, also sports an amusement park, an "alpine slide," restaurants, bungee tower, and Opera House. Its a great place for the whole family so bring the kids.
The Rocky Mountain Region of the BMWCCA is hosting a Driver's School on Saturday August 25th in Pueblo about 100 miles south of Denver and attendence is open and encouraged. You do not have to be a member to BMWCCA to participate, but it is encouraged. If there is sufficient interest a private tour of the Coors Brewery - a 5 minute drive from Heritage Square - can be arranged for Saturday as well. Just what we need . . .
We hope to meet for a drive, dinner, and cocktails on Sat. afternoon/evening. Pass the word - this is not a one time shot. We are going to do this annually! Push, pull, or drive 'em.
Please RSVP to either Tim or Richard at tjpaich@uswest.net or coyotle@aol.com
