my plan is to strip the g-d engine compartment to metal (some of this is visible in the pics around the radiator hole) and paint it with rustkiller primer and paint it possibly red or white... Because i plan on dipping the whole thing in a few years at rusteco, im probably going to just use some krylon or whatever (any recommendations for spray-bomb epoxy paint?) just to dress it up and prevent more serious rust damage to the front clip.

My poor car has been off the road for more than a year now but it makes me feel very very satisfied to be attacking the engine compartment like this. I still neeed to remove a bunch of wiring and such as you can see from the pics (go to the fototime site and scroll the bottom for the latest pics) but then i can seriously start to grind away at all that filthy sheetmetal.
