Valvetronic... NO throttle plate restriction, you meter fuel/air by varying intake valve lift from near-zero to 11mm or so... I learned about this from the June Roundel. I dont care what the new X7 is going to look like, but I respect a club/magazine AND car company that makes wild shit like valvetronic happen and then print it up. The June roundel was the best in months. you should frigging join CCA. best magazine ever. I may scan and post this article too. Same issue has cool article about BMW engine development. God I have more respect for BMW than any other commercial enterprise on the face of the planet.
