As the owner of two 320's, both '83 models, I can say that the engines are very reliable, the fuel injection is simple and straitforward, and they last a long time (both cars have in excess of 200,000 miles on their engines with no major repairs only routine maintenance). I like the idea of using your existing carb. with an electric fuel pump for fuel delivery. I would suggest using an aftermarket fuel pump as the 320 units tend to blow apart quickly.

Yes, you would need to have an oxygen sensor port added to your headers.
