The fuse may look good, but the connection may not be good or tight. Also, check the light bulbs, and make sure their bases and contacts are clean and not corroded. New bulbs may also help...

No need to disconnect the battery checking these.

I'm having trouble with the turn signals not working in my 71 2002. The fuse is good so I thought I should check the grounds next. My question is: Where are they specifically, what should I do to them and do I need to disconnect the battery to avoid a shock? I don't know much about this type of thing so any advice is much appreciated.
