IF you're using epoxy resin then go to a foam place or a surfboard store (assuming ur not in the midwest) and buy some high density foam.. insert into gap and cut and trim to desired shape. apply expoy resin fiblerglass.. and then once dry use a lil gasoline to disolve the foam.. or.. use balsa wood if you're using polyester resin... for sanding and painting get this green body filler putty.. works great.. the red stuff is ok but not as good as the green. should work for most non structural beauty body fixes.. if you have more questions email

I have A turbo spoiler off a wrecked car that I need to bandage for one weekend so it looks half Right {i don't have a front bumper and I don't want a tri hull effect.} So it has some missing chunks that need filled in with fiber glass. i have glass to do it but I need a way to make a form for the bottom edge. i was thinkin card board.
any one with experiece in fiberglass please help me
