I also drove my 73 tii through the valley, but I got lost in the mountains to the west trying to get there from Santa Barbara. ripped off part of my muffler. But I continued on. The trip started in San Diego, and ended here in Toronto, Canada. Most amazing ride was the Blue Ridge Parkway and the roads you take to get on and off of it. Highly recommended road trip for any '02 owner.
