intake manifold (with injectors on it) and plenum chamber, and make sure all mating surfaces are clean and flat. If you still have the plastic intake runners, make sure the o-rings are ok and are seating correctly. Check the throttle body if you had that off too.

Check for any vaccuum leaks as already suggested. Make sure there's nothing missing or broken in the air intake system. I found two screws missing on my Tii where the bracket that runs up from near the starter to the throttle body, were missing. They are open into the throttle body and were leaking!

Did you have the injectors out? If so, check to make sure that the copper seals are in good condition. You can also heat them up and let them cool slowly to make them 'soft' copper again, so they seal properly. I also found on my Tii, that one of the injector seats was damaged and I had to swap in a spare I had.
