oil pump chain tension? (archive)

Hello all! Was wondering how much tension should be on my oil pump chain? Motor is in car, and have head off and front cover. I have a new oil pump chain, but it seems like it would be tough to put in without removing oil pan. Since block is still in car, was wondering how tough it is to drop pan and change chain...
