you might see what I saw. My car needs rings & valve stem seals also. I noticed a lot of oil on my carb too. It was from excess blow-by coming thru the breather vent, which was routed to my aircleaner. The oil filled the bottom of the aircleaner until it found a way to seep out. HTH
