If your going to do a complete rebuild then
yes, thats a pretty good deal that TopEnd is offering. You can sometimes find a deal on a new set of pistons from Maximillan but your choice is limited. with the TopEnd kit I think you can get any bore and compression ratio you want.



Im trying to rebuild my 71 that has been sitting for a while. It has JE Forged pistons w/ totalseal rings, Rod&main bearings, full engine gasket set, Timing chain, tensioner, and guide rails, oil pump w/ chain. They are asking only $975.00 for the kit but i have no idea if i should spend that much money on it.Any input would be great.
