Yup. You can do it yourself. Remove the plastic stuff that shields the cylinder housing. On the bottom of the aluminum cylinder housing, an 1/8th of an inch or so from the chrome keyhole face, is a hole that holds a roll-pin. This pin is a rolled metal tube less than 1/4 inch long. If you take a very tiny screw, you can often screw it into the bottom of the roll-pin and pull it out with a pliers. The cylinder will slide right out. I've made this work a couple of times, though once I had to drill the pin out.

After having the cylinder fixed, slide it back into the housing and tap the roll-pin back into place.
