I drove from Boulder Creek Ca. and made it on one tank to go on a fishing trip in Markleeville, Ca. Markleeville is at 9000' elevation. To get there we had to climb the Kit Carson Pass @ 1100'! I was definitely NOT trying to conserve fuel untill I got a little worried toward the end and coasted in idle a few times downhill. I had to floor it in 3rd gear in a lot of places. We limited out on Cutthroat trout every day, too!
