it could be you're coil. I think that they heat up after a while and can fail. just a thought.
Seth

The engine idles great but if I try to rev it over 1000 rpm it dies after 15 sconds. I have a new fuel pump, new inline fuel filter, cleaned out secondary filter in 32/36, cleaned out the main jet, and cleaned the carb in general. Yet the problem remains. I can see that there is an adequate supply of fuel flowing through the clear inline filter. Can anyone give me any ideas? I dont think it is an ignition problem givent the fact that it does run for a while. My best guess would be that the float bowl is not filling fast enough due to failure of the floats. Any suggestions? Please help me because I dont want to be riding my bike 8 miles to work till I fix it. Thanx.
