Hi All,
Just wanted to share my excitement. About 4 years ago I parked my 70' 1600 because of an accident and a shot second gear. Well yesterday I started her up. I lubed everything up, put in fresh gas, put gas in the carb, turned the engine over a few times, and then with a good puff of smoke she was alive. The fuel pump wasn't pumping but luckly I had another so fixed that and let her idle for a while. I only got to drive it in the driveway but everything seemed to work fine. Still runs very smooth and strong. I have to thank this board for keeping me motivated. With out it I might have sold the car a long time ago. Hope to get some pics up soon.
