I use the stock 2002 belts, which work fine. Perhaps my post made it sound like I was using them. Agreed, those are flimsy rails.

me in place in an accident. All your weight (lets say you're 200 lbs and you're in a 5 G 'stop', that is 1000 lbs of force) is going to try and pull those wimpy captive nuts through the seat rail frame (that is if the frame doesn't rip off first!!).

At $110 a side, proper seat belts are really really cheap. I think you should re-examine your economics.
