I was told by the previous owner of my car that I had better find another place to jack
the car up from. He admitted to an attempt outside of the rear subframe mount and 'it felt a little soft' ..it felt solid to me at the time ..but I had to go and open a can of worms to discover the subframe mount to be pretty well rusted but not completely fallen apart. I searched the archives and found no articles pertaining to subframe mount reconstruction / salvaging. Anyone out there ever go to town on one of these before? I'd love to hear how you went about it. Dan Curtis this is the area I wanted to por-15 then weld ..know of any good welders in NH? Thanks again.

Johno
