I ran another compresion test 118,125,125,120 were the readings. Still low but ok. but anyhow my brother and i were messing around and began to think the solinoid on the side of my 34ich weber carb was shot. luckly we had another and put it on. now the car wants to start but it will die when you let go of the key. im thinking thAT THE 34ICH IS smaller then the stock solex that came on the 1970 02. I am looking to buy a new carb but what size of carb? single or two barrel? anything other then a weber to look into?

TIA
Andy Rattley
