I was able to turn the crankshaft on my 2nd (crapped out & and on a stand for messin with) engine with the 30mm socket i bought for my tranny output flange some time back. (the bolt on the pully is 30mm and semmed to turn the crankshaft fine). Would it be safe to use it on the engine in my car?? Also, I found the two marks on the cranshaft pully, but there is no pointed mark (as shown in the haynes maunual & orig shop manual) on either one of my engines. Do I just set the marks to 12 o'clock?
