i found a place in San Francisco that can sell me a 3 core radiator for a 2002 for only $165.
i want to know if it worth saving a $100.

how can i verify the quality of a radiator by visual inspection?

anyone had any experience with Radiator Shops that are not specific to BMWs? Or Radiator Factory SF in this particular case.

thanks,
steve k.

I've had several rebuilt 2 core into 3 cores. Latest cost was $185 and it works great. Make sure to tell the rebuilder to position the core as far forward as possible.
