I have never performed this operation before but I am getting ready to do it, and it seems the easiest might be to lower the subframe, and replace the mounts rather than knocking the knurled bolts out of the body. If you want stiffer than stock subframe mounts BMP sells urethane inserts or you can buy some epoxy and fill with epoxy the space where there is no rubber.
