02weekend-(long, no point, mostly 02 related) (archive)

Hope you all had a great weekend 02ing like I did. The weather was perfect for purring along at 80 on the "I" headed up north. Sunshine, clear highways, and the occasional burst up around three digits. A little shimmy around eighty-five but that'll be history wednesday once the Pirelli P700Z shod Rev wheels get mounted. The cops had better things to do I guess because I clocked about five-hundred miles this weekend at speed with no problems. Everyone I passed, or was passed by (those Illinois guys fly!) seemed to check the Nevada out. I'm glad people can still take a moment to appreciate classic beauty. I stopped and took pictures of her by the lake at sunset. It was a great weekend to be alive.
