picking up my newly purchased 73' 02 tomorrow and I'd like to shine it up a bit. The paint (like most of the car) is in very good shape. What wax or other product is favored?

thanx

Here is my recommendation - Get down to the auto parts house & get some car wash, Hand Glaze and some Carnuba wax Step 1) wash and dry car Setp 2)
apply hand glaze to a section of the car then wipe/polish off immediately to a smooth finish,
the paint will actually squeak under the cloth
Step 3)Apply one coat of wax over entire car, go back and apply a second coat over first(don't take first off yet) then with an orbital polisher and terry pads remove both coats of wax to a high gloss finish. A lot of work but the car will SHINE
like crazy. meguiars.com is a good site.
