Do you mean the threads are stripped so you can't tighten it? Or they are stripped so it won't come off when you unscrew it? Or is the outside of the nut stripped so a wrench won't turn it?


Hmmm ... perhaps I could have been more specific ;-)

The threads are stripped so I can't tighten or worse yet ... take it off to replace it. The exterior of the nut is fine and spins very nicely, just doesn't go anywhere.
