Red Coil and Pertronix ignition-72 tii (archive)

I have a stock tii motor and just recently started to experience a slight misfire at 5000-5500rpm w/ 60 degree dwell, Bosch Blue coil. I am entertaining the idea of Pertronix-Red Coil combo. Any first hand experiences with this combination?
