-It mounts the same way as your stock alternator.
-You may need to trim your fan blade or the bolt (stud) that holds the pulley onto the alternator.
-It is internally regulated so you will have to reroute the blue wire wire if you want your dash warning light to work correctly. I just used a short 2 inch jump wire from the alternator terminal (can't remember which post, D+ maybe) to the blue terminal of the stock plastic plug of the stock alternator.
-I do believe the 79-81 alternator produces 65amps
-I don't think it has solid bushings you can get them through specialty shops though.
-make sure you ground it like the stock one

The mods are minimal
