I really wish BMW would not build a stupid SUV. Instead they should have approached this as an opportunity to open up another market with a 3 series based ///M Rally Car type SUV ... kinda like the Subaru WRX or other related cars. They could have easily based it on the E36 M3 adding just a bit of height, wider wheel arches, 4wd and underbody skid plates to a 3 series touring body! Anyone else think BMW blew this opportunity. I am not anti SUV totally as I have a Jeep Cherokee which sees plenty of Jeep trails here in Colorado, but I hate to see BMW following instead of leading.
