: : Sounds good.

: : My 323i was ordered June 15th and built October 21st (waited for Xenon & Sport package). My dealer tells me that it should arrive at the dealer (Minnesota) about November 20th. I have my doubts about the delivery date, but it seems possible considering your dates.

: How is it you guys know the exact build date of your car? My on-order M3 is being built this month, but the dealer I'm ordering through says they don't know any more than that -- sometime in November! Are they just too lazy to make the necessary phone call, or something? How does one find out an exact date? Or is the date only known after the dealer actually gets the vehicle?

: Brant

Once a car is given a "production number" it is also given a production week date. This represents the week the car is to be built. The dealer can check the production status on his computer anytime to see if a production number and date have been assigned to the vehicle.
