I believe that CarPoint just posts numbers that are given to them by the auto manufacturer. Indeed, those are the same numbers posted at www.bmwusa.com
: : Check out the reviews at Microsoft's carpoint site. I believe they give the times on the cars and specs (6.6 vs. 7.1 0-60 times if I recall). Hope this is of some help.
: : I wonder if BMW is only loaning E46 328i's out to the car mags, which would benefit them, of course,
: : because they will always come out looking strong.
: : Just a guess,

: : : Why is is that all the reviews seem to be the E46 328i and nobody out there (magazines, internet, newspapers, etc) all care about the 323i? I am very curious to see 0-60 results, 50-70, 1/4 mile and top speed of the 323i too. As far as I know, the 328i(both 2 and 4 doors) have been around since 1996 and the 323i (4 door), is all new (except the 323is in 98) and it should be given more, if not equal attention.
: : : There should be a test of the 323i vs. C230K vs. A4 1.8T vs. TL vs. 9-3 (or 9-5) soon in one of the major magazines out there. I think the E46 328i has gotten too much publicity and the E46 323i has gotten hardly any. Seems a little one-sided for BMW reviews only testing the higher end of the two E46's.
