I think Steve M. was referring to actual reviews such as the ones by Edmunds.com, Motorweek, C&D, MT, R&D, and other sources which have basiclly forgotten the 323i and only done their homework on the 328i.

It would really interest me to see a head to head competition of the auto 323i Sport vs. auto C230 Kompressor Sport vs. auto A4 2.8 fwd Sport. Now, that would be a true tit for tat test (all automatics). This test would tell you which car is better, all things equal.
