: I just wanted to put my two cents worth on the OBC for 99 for $300. I actually liked the old E36's OBC much better. For 4 functions, it does not seem to be worth to me. You of course got it on your sport packages. If you enjoy the MPG, temp, and other things, by all means, do so. I am just not that much into statistics of last tank's gas mileage verus this tank's gas mileage, etc, etc, ........
: Sorry I did not answer your question, but after posting the reply, I have not been able to log on until now and it looks like Matt answered it for you. If I was logged on, I would have replied.
: Take Care,
Thanks, Dave -- I now give you shape and function.
For what it's worth - I like average MPG computers mostly for the cool-toy factor, but also because I'm really a pain in the butt about getting the best gas mileage I can. I use between one and two tanks a week for my commute over the hills, and I've found that altering my driving style according to the instant MPG gauge has really helped (I mean, like increasing MPG from 27-29 to 34+ on the same commute, week after week). The average MPG is just that much more helpful.
Anyways, sorry to be snippy up above.
