Thanks, Matt.

On a side note, our Passat has the "average speed"
function, which always depresses me on long trips.

It seems that no matter how hard we try to maintain
a constant 70-75 MPH on I5 from SF down to LA, our
average speed, at the end of the trip, comes out
to 40 MPH.

Now, I know this has a lot to do with those McDonalds stops and the baby feedings/diaper changes -- but it's depressing to be reminded of
that fact by the OBC through the whole trip.

Alright - I'll stop rambling now, and go get
some sleep

: My 1998 323is OBC has the following (from memory):

: Two MPG functions
: Average speed
: Range to empty
: Estimated arrival time
: Max Speed warning
: Outside Temp
: Timer
: Anti-theft code
: Memo
: Date/Time

: Retail price $500
