: I took delivery of my 323 on September 10th and have almost 3,000 on the odometer. I can happily report that this is the best car I have ever owned and I have owned quite a few including 85 325e, 89 MB 190 and lately a couple of SAAB Turbo's. My car includes leather, HK system, premium package, moonroof, foglights, heated seats and Titanium Silver paint. The car listed out at $34,355 and I paid $31,650. This equates to 461 on 3 yr lease through BMW FS.

: I did not drive the 328i with a 5 spd as it was out of my price range with the equipment that I wanted. I have noticed that torque in 1st gear on my car is lacking but once you get into 2nd with revs up around 3k, the car takes off. I have also found the car to be a little difficult to drive around town. It likes to accelerate and not dawdle. I look forward to country roads and ramps to highways. The 323 is a blast to drive, change lanes and fly.

: I live in Massachusetts, I am wondering how my BMW will handle the snow. I would prefer not to put on snows but I may have no choice.

: At 3000 miles the only problem I have had is a creaking drivers door which required a replacement of the window channel which was too tight. I would strongly recommend mud flaps as they have kept the car cleaner. Finally the HK system is awesome and I would highly recommend.

Thanks for the report, I am awaiting delivery of my 323i w/sport package. I opted for 5 speed automatic tranny for traffic driving in Atlanta hope to not be disappointed.
