I have an e36 coupe, black with light gray interior. Considering most would not opt for the lt gray, the inside is easier to keep clean than the outside.

The only gripe I have is that the paint is easily marred. So stones create small, primer colored pits in the front, and anything but THE ABSOLUTE BEST (read softest) waxing or polishing cloth will leave swirl marks that need to be professionally removed.

You've got to treat black paint like your newborn baby.

: I'm still debating whether my E46 323 should be black or silver. I like the black better but I know it's harder to keep clean. Most people tend to prefer the silver.

: Just wondering if anyone who has bought a black BMW has any advice for me.

: Thanks.
