: Hi, I am currently in a dilemma again as to the choice of my first ever bimmer (and first new car ever). I was looking at 323i and 328i, but one more choice has been added... M3.

: I hope anyone in southern california would be curtious enough to tell me the price tag of their 98 or 99 M3... so I can try to solve my dilemma.

: my appreciation to you,

Buy your M-3 now..an E 36....You never want a first year car! You get some cool options but go with the proven one....The guy that said the M-3 will be out soon in E 46 did not tell u his soon was 3 years! There are countless examples of major redesigns after the first year, and major the 2nd year....the e 36 M-3 suspension changed after 95 production and engine!!!!
